Playstyle

Where the Mage studies Arcane magic, the Sorcerer is simply born with it — its identity is built around innate magical surges and metamagic rather than a scholar's discipline. Mechanically it's nearly a mirror of the Mage's stat curve: zero base health and high energy, the classic glass-cannon caster. It rewards careful positioning and punishes mistakes hard, since it has no cushion of health to absorb them.

The Sorcerer currently starts with a staff as a placeholder weapon; thematic implements more fitting of an innate spellcaster — a proper sorcerer focus — are planned for a future update. Its starting robes are also shared with the Mage for now.

Current Status

The Sorcerer is fully playable today — selectable at character creation with its own identity and stats. Its dedicated skill tree is still empty and in active development, so it currently plays on its base kit without specialized abilities layered on top.

Tips

  • Zero base health means the Sorcerer dies as fast as it deals damage — keep your distance and never get caught out of position.
  • High energy use rewards players who manage their resource bar carefully instead of dumping it early.
  • Since the starting weapon and outfit are shared placeholders, don't read too much into them — the class's identity will sharpen as its dedicated kit ships.
