The Mage operates at medium-long range, combining massive damage spells with crowd control effects. Its schools of magic are the most varied in the game: from manipulation of gravity and time to the darkest blood magic.
Available Schools of Magic
Evocation (Arcana)
Pure destruction magic.
Signature spell: Shatterburst — area explosion at the target point, with a visible telegraphed ring before detonating. Devastating against groups of enemies.
Hemomancy (Arcana)
Blood magic. One of the most original and deep schools in Xindeler, with 21 spells ranging from level 0 to 9.
Some spells: Bloodlet, Crimson Brand, Hemal Spike, Sanguine Ward, Leeching Grasp, Bloodboil, Exsanguinate, Crimson Apotheosis.
Hemomancy has its own mechanics that fundamentally differentiate it from other schools. More is revealed as the system matures.
Axiomancy (Arcana)
Magic of gravity, time and space — 15 spells from level 0 to 9.
Some spells: Magnify Gravity, Gravity Sinkhole, Temporal Shunt, Gravity Fissure, Dark Star, Reality Break, Ravenous Void.
Axiomancy manipulates the fundamental laws of the world. Its effects are unique in Xindeler's magic system.
Necromancy (Arcana)
Control and debilitation.
Signature spell: Dread Whisper — applies the Terrified effect, which slows and routes NPCs.
Enchantment — Devotion (Divine)
Access to mind control spells.
Available spell: Censure — applies Charmed: the affected NPC does not attack the Mage while the effect lasts.
Abjuration
High-level defensive magic.
Available spell (level 6): Antimagic Field — one of the most powerful abilities in the system.

Tips
- Hemomancy and Axiomancy are the most complex schools. Start with Evocation to learn the rhythm of magical combat.
- The Mage is more fragile than other classes. Keep your distance and use crowd control to survive.
- Elf is the most popular race for Mage because of the +3% movement speed, which makes kiting easier.
