Creatures

The world of Xindeler is full of life — and death. Creatures range from harmless wild animals to ancestral horrors that make veteran adventurers tremble.

Creature Categories

Large Humanoids (Bosses and Elites)

The most dangerous creatures in the world. Some are dungeon bosses, others patrol specific regions.

They include: Ogres, Cyclopes, Trolls (cave, mountain and swamp), Werewolves, Minotaurs, Yetis, Oni (blue and red), Tide Titans, and other entities whose names we prefer not to list here.

Medium Quadrupeds

The fauna of the world: from common predators to legendary beasts.

Some species: Sabertooths, Tigers, Tuskrams, Lions, Wolves, Frostfangs, Bears, Mammoths, Elephants. More than forty distinct species with their own behaviors.

Arthropods, Birds and Crustaceans

Giant insects, large birds of prey and deep-water crustaceans with their own loot tables and behaviors.

Dragons

Xindeler's dragons are high-power creatures organized in lines: metallic (good), chromatic (evil) and gem (neutral). See more in the Regions — Xandrian section.

Golems

Constructs of stone, metal or magic. Some were created by ancient civilizations and still fulfill the function for which they were programmed. Others... have developed something that might be called their own will.

Lore Creatures

Some creatures deserve special mention for their lore relevance or unique mechanics:

False Hydra Lore

A creature that sings. Its song cannot be heard consciously, but it erases memories from its victims. The villages near a False Hydra do not remember seeing people disappear — because the memories of those people disappear too.

It is one of the most disturbing creatures in the world. Finding it is the beginning of something very bad.

Juvenile Mimic (Ivi)

A young mimic that has not yet learned to transform perfectly. Something can be noticed that is slightly off about the object it imitates, if looked at with enough attention.

Frost Worm

A large subterranean creature that inhabits glacial regions. Its presence is usually detected before it is seen — the ground shakes.

The complete bestiary of Xindeler — with stats, drops, locations and lore for each creature — expands as the game develops. This page is updated continuously.
