Character Creation
When creating your character in Xindeler you make two decisions that define your playstyle: your race and your class.
Choosing a Race
Races grant a permanent passive and an active innate ability. No race is strictly superior — each favors a different style.
| Race | Passive | Innate ability |
|---|---|---|
| Human | +3% Energy recovery | Second Wind |
| Elf | +3% movement speed | Fleetness |
| Dwarf | +2% damage reduction | Stoneblood |
| Orc | +3% attack damage | Bloodrage |
| Danari | +5% maximum Energy | Shadowstep |
| Draugr | +10% CC resistance | Gravechill |
Choosing a Class
The class determines your combat role, the weapons you can use and the special abilities available.
| Class | Role | Main weapons |
|---|---|---|
| Warrior | Damage / Tank | Sword, axe, hammer |
| Mage | Magic damage | Tome, focus, staff |
| Cleric | Support / Healing | Holy symbol, sceptre |
| Rogue | Damage / Mobility | Dagger, bow |
Equipment Restrictions
Items in Xindeler can have class, race or minimum level requirements. Trying to equip an item that doesn't meet the requirements shows it dimmed with an explanatory tooltip.
This means the choice of class and race directly affects what equipment you can use throughout the game.
Character Level
Characters range from level 1 to 60, calculated from the experience accumulated over the character's entire lifetime. The level is displayed visibly in the nameplate above your character.
Final Advice
