Regions

The world of Xindeler is vast. Its continents have radically different climates, cultures and factions, and each region guards its own secrets.

This page shows the known regions. There are places that do not appear on any official map.

The Highlands

The central-eastern continent. The heart of the known and civilized world. Most players will begin their adventure here, in its cities, villages and dungeons.

The Highlands contain several kingdoms and territories with their own cultures:

Merovingia

To the northwest of the Highlands. A human empire of iron and ice — militaristic, proud and deeply distrustful of outsiders. Its winters are legendarily harsh. Its discipline, too.

Cromatolis

To the west-southwest. An autocratic and surveilled kingdom where control of information is part of power. Its capital is a hermetic city-state with its own rules.

Xandrian

To the east. The Dragon Dynasty — an unusual territory where approximately twenty types of dragons live organized in six factions under the authority of an empress. The Platinum City acts as a neutral seat of negotiation.

The Freelands

The center of the Highlands. No crown, no single sovereign. A mosaic of independent cities where adventurers without affiliation find more freedom — and more danger.

Aurora

The northern land, between the Highlands and more inhospitable regions. Home of Dawn City — the oldest city that survived all the cataclysms of history intact. Its very existence is a mystery.

Azahbbath

The great western continent. Divided into four regions with very distinct characteristics: from cold lands inhabited by dragons to wild zones, a complex political protectorate and areas where the Veil behaves strangely.

Other Known Continents

Uncharted Regions

There are places in the world of Xindeler that do not appear on standard maps. Some by choice. Others because those who went to explore them did not return to tell the tale.

The Abyssal Ocean, Nythraldeep and other places exist in the game's canon. Their revelation is part of the narrative progression.
