Pantheon
The pantheon of Xindeler is composed of the Luminaries — the gods who participated in the Worldsong and shaped the world — and of The Unfaithful, those who broke the original pact.
The Luminaries
The twelve faithful gods. Each has a domain, a realm of their own beyond the Divine Gate, and active cults in the mortal world.
| Name | Domain |
|---|---|
| Solenne, Mother of Dawn | Sun, light, life, agriculture |
| Seraine, the Eternal Light | Redemption, mercy, healing |
| Aurelle, the Arch-Wright | Art, creation, elves |
| Veshtur, the Unbroken Banner | Platinum dragons, oaths, protection |
| Hestdram, the Great Hammer | Forge, craftsmanship, home, family |
| Veradel, the Wild Mother | Nature, seas, storms |
| Lunere, the Pale Dreamer | Moon, dreams, second sight |
| Vorne, the Storm-Crowned | Sky storms, strength, honest combat |
| Velora, the Wheel of Years | Time, seasons, luck, crossroads |
| Gildmar, the Open Hand | Trade, honest contracts, trust |
| Yssira, the Veiled Archivist | Knowledge, magic as pattern, stars |
| Nereth, the Silent Gate | Death, fate, winter |
The complete domains of each Luminary — their cults, their history and their wars — are part of the lore revealed in the game.
The Unfaithful
Nine gods who broke the pact of the Worldsong. Their names are known in the mortal world. Their cults exist as well — in the shadows, in places where the light of the Luminaries does not reach.
Who the Unfaithful are and what they did is not revealed here. Their story is part of the deepest lore of Xindeler.
"There are nine empty chairs in the great council. No one sits in them. No one speaks aloud of why they are empty."
The Eternals
Entities that exist outside the hierarchy of the Luminaries. They are not gods in the traditional sense — they are forces that are older or of a different nature.
The lore of the Eternals is part of the content revealed in the game.
Religion in the World
Cults to the Luminaries are a fundamental part of life in Xindeler. Gildmar has a strong presence in commercial cities. Vorne is worshipped by warriors and soldiers. Nereth receives offerings at burials. Yssira has her archivists and academic mages.
The Cleric is the class that directly channels the divine magic of the Luminaries — their source of power depends on their relationship with their chosen god.
